    Default daft question

    how the hell do i open my petrol flap
    i have on 02 vecra new shape

    cant see any button to open it, and it doesn't open manually

    You should be able to pull the flap open by hand as long as you have unlocked the car.

    Unlock all doors?
    If I unlock the driver's door only the flap will stay locked...

    This certainly applies to my facelift. Unlock all doors and the cap opens. Unlock driver only, and its a no go.

    yes that must be my problem then only drivers was unlocked

    Good point that, I have programmed the locking system to unlock all the doors with one press on the fob.

    Did you find this out at the fuel garage... only my mrs did... she went for fuel and couldnt get it open so had to get back in the car and drive away!

    almost lucky for me i had a can of petrol in the garage to put in as ive still got the car on my drive since buying it.
    not insured yet so that saved me

    one of them times you know theres a simple solution but you can find it i spent ages looking for a fuel cap open switch,

    A young lad on my street has just bought his first car. A modified corsa, walked past the day he got it and he was trying to open the fuel cap with a screw driver under his dads instruction! I told him to give me his keys and one press of the key fob and the fuel cap magically unlocked. Good job i was passing or he would have just ripped it off.
