    Talking New powerflow exhaust

Just got back from having my custom dual exhaust done. Had it done at Kingswinford tyres which is a powerflow approved place.
Really happy with the way they did it and the look. I did hope it would be a bit quieter so im going to take it for a spin down the motorway later! I had the centre box removed and just 2 rear silencers but im thinking of having the centre box put back. Would it make it quieter???
    Heres some pics anyway........

looks good - and yes an additional centre box will help reduce the exhaust noise- i had them fit the cut section on mine initialy so i could retrofit the centre box as and when i needed to

yep, 4" slash!! Before you go down have a look on the powerflow website and make a note of the tail pipe because they are low of designs.
Just had another drive and i think im going to get the centre box put in because its a bit loud for me (and baby). Its a deep rumble noise which sounds cool, but i want something subtle!

How much lighter is your wallet bud... and how did they knock up the Y section, one near me did a twin tail on the astra, but not really how i would have done it so workmanship was questionable...

yep, it cost £280. He did mention that someone phoned off a forum!! For the Y piece he had a twin tail pipe and cut the pipes off and was left with a Y. I did think it was weird but i supose its a lot quicker and easier, and it worked perfectly!! He just strengthened the Y by welding the seams.
