    Whats the best way to get rid of scratches, got loads of them

    depends how deep they are Matt, best way to check is to run you finger nail over them. if they catch and/or you can see/feel the primer underneath then its a respray or touch up job.

    if its just minor scratches like those made by hedges/bushes they may be polished out using a Dual action polisher or rotary and some cutting polish or compound. this is not an easy thing to do though and if you're not confident then I wouldn't try it. Personally I wouldn't use compounding polish but let a pro do it.

    you should check out www.detailingworld.com some people here have had really good results with touch up paint and wet sanding, even on deeper scratches.

    you could try filling the scratches with something like megs scratch x. but this'll involve alot of elbow grease and will need to be repeated regularly. as the filling eventually gives way.

    Thanks for that mate, think ill call in the pros lol. Most are surface scratches but have a couple of deep ones.
