Tid display

Hi all.Is the TID DISPLAY easy to repair? Reason I ask is I have a couple of scratches on mine and they are a bit unsightly. I've taken it out to have a look and it seems to be just a small thin piece of glass type material. Or is it of to the stealers for a new one? Or maybe a wee fault to appearto get it sorted thru warranty

I would buy a GID and wire that in,a lot better than the TID
But if it looks like a fault then by all means get it replaced

Hi buddy, where is the best place to get one of these GID units and is it a Tech 2 job?

I know they have to be paired to each other.

Best bet ebay or ask on here in parts wanted,it has to be de-paired so you can tech2 it to yours
What stereo have you got 2007 sri must be a CD30

Scott hope you read my txt message m8, warranty may not cover the infotainment system as these are only covered by the warranty on the 1st year as Vx will have passed on the system manufacturers' warranty to you which is typically 1 year.

Yeah it was a cd30 but I upgraded to an Alpine Headunit but i've still got the cd30 in a cupboard.

I would sell them both together you may get £70 then buy either a cd40 setup or treat yourself to a CD70 Navi for Christmas
