    Default Drivers door not flush

    Hi all, noticed my drivers door is not sitting flush when closed it's not way off but now ive noticed it ,it's annoying me, passenger side is fine, might have been like that since I bought it dont know, but any way of adjusting the door so i can get it flush.

    All you have to do is adjust the striker on the body of the car in a bit. Simples!

    Well it's cold and wet outside so i'm guessing here, not going out to check, but i'm sure there will be two torx bits securing a chrome u shaped striker to the inside of the door frame. Loosen these slightly and move it in towards the seat then tighten it again. As you move it in it will make the door shut tighter in. Hope that makes sense?

    sorry what size of torx bit is needed, want to adjust at work tommorrow and dont want to take my full set.

    A wee tip. Go round the striker plate with a fine felt pen, so you can the original position, it helps a lot to judge how far you are moving it. The pen marking will wipe of easily from the paint afterwards.

    Also when you undo the bolts dont undo them completely, just enough so the plate can be moved by tapping it lightly.
