    Default Veccy 3.2 mayo?

Ok so coming down the motorway the other day the oil level light came on. So I stopped at the services and put half a litre in to top it up. I have never checked the oil level since I bought it so I was not unduly worried.

However, when I opened the filler it has some mayo in there Now the car does a lot of short journeys to work and back plus I seem to remember someone saying that the height of the filler puts it in the cold air so it will condensate in there a fair bit? If this is true, I also seem to remember people removing the extended spout and putting the cap back in, how is this done?

The next thing that worries me a little is the fack i have just had to put about 250ml of water into the headder tank This, with the mayo has got me a bit worried so, please put my mind at ease its having a sniffer check on monday just incase

    many thanks
    Sean

I'd say nothing to worry about, mine has the same 'mayo' in the filler neck. All the 3.2 engines do it. Just clean it out when you top up. 250ml of water is nothing to worry about, these engines do get very hot, even this time of year so it's just using its normal amount I'd say. If you want to be sure get it checked out by a tech but I think it's fine.
