    Default is this right?

    i drive a vectra estate 04 1.9 cdti 150 with 215/50/17 tyres.
the cheapest i can find tyres is approx 90 quid a time, because they are i suppose weird sizes.
is it possible to change tyre sizes but keep the same wheels, i have been told that so long as you do both sides at the same time it will be ok.
has any body done this, what savings if any can be made?

Yes, you can change to 225/45/17's, cheaper and better choice of brands.

A search on here will bring up loads of threads.

Have a look on black circles mate, i got the Falken 912's 215/50/17, 91W, for £170 all in with fitting, and also tracking check.

There a cracking tyre as well, staying at the standard size of course. There also quite cheap on camskills.

EDIT: Above price for two front tyres
