    Default Rear registration LED light

I have bought a set of LED registration light bulbs and fitted them.
When i locked the car and went into the house, I thought the police where outside, So i go outside and notice my LED bulbs are flashing !!

YES THEY ARE BLUE!! ME MATE GRABBED THE WRONG ONES !! So im rollin' round with Blue LEDs haha I look like a noob.

Anyone got any idea why this is?

I think its funny myself, not funny when battery is dead like!

vec's dont like LED bulbs they always end up strobing unless you mess about fitting resistors, best option is to put them in the bin and get some m-tec 501 bulbs from ebay or hid direct. hth

    Im about to find out!

Some people day they flash and some don't.

Normally the dimming function is achieved by a slowly decreasing sine wave (I know this to be true on atleast Volvo/Ford as I carried out testing for these manufacturers), on a filament bulb this creates to illusion of dimming, but on LEDs the minimum on voltage is much higher, it will result in flashing with or without resistors.... Whats probably needed is capacitance.

We'll see how it goes and if I have a problem i'll get the electronic component draws out of the garage and have a play
