    Default Halfords = Poo

I've just been to Halfords to get QR Brake bulbs + LED Reg plate bulbs; Instead of taking them out and matching up with my existing Signum ones I thought I would be a car dick and read the booklet they have in there...

All goes well I pay the women get home, disemble the lights then I find my brake bulb doesn't fit!

Was a little pee'd off this so I thought my LED's would cheer me up.

Get to go and do my LED's and what do you know.. ITS THE WRONG BULBS!

    Gotta love HALFORDS!

And before you say it no I never read the wrong section or picked up the wrong bulbs haha!

In defence of Halfrauds - three stores local to me, convenient opening hours, loadsa parking but I only shop there knowing exactly what I want. Never, ever rely on what their info pads/books tell you.

So it depends on what you want really, good and bad depending on how you look at it.

plus Halfords Professional tools are quite good and I like being able to buy individual sockets/spanners rather than a set.

I find that the occasional mistake by Halfords staff or their fitment guides is a lot more palatable if you have their Trade Card and so get a good discount.

On a serious note, the halfords listed air filter for the Vec B 2.2 petrol is not right. The one for the 2.0 140 is the correct filter for the 2.2 ! Have bought many 2.0 filters for my old 2.2

    Strange !
