    Default hids in angel eyes

has anyone got hids in angel eye's?, dont want another winter where i cant see where im going and wanting to upgrade to HIDS but heard somewhere that the inside of angel eyes are different to normal lights and that the insides start to melt due to the heat of the bulbs is this true or is someone leading me up the garden path with this one.

I've got angel eyes fitted with leds and just fitted the hids intothem at the weekend and I put the 50w ones in from hids-direct. I think someone is pulling your leg about the lights melting. The differance in light is amazing and no bulb warnings. Tried to get a photo but quality is not great. Probably too dark and then the camera blinded with light.

I would personally say HID's are over-rated, had them on my omega, they seemed better than my old astra, but I'd have to say my normal lights on my signum are atleast as good if not better!

Each to our own I suppose but I have noticed a huge differance in the amount of light and the light quality as it is a much whiter, crisper light.

ive found my angel eyes alone are a lot brighter than the standard headlamps so i imagine hids would be better again still..

No bother, I take it you mean a pic as if in the driving position.
A bit busy at the moment but I'll get one for you tomorrow.
