    Default Wheel change

Thinking of a wheel change for the Signum. Although I like the 19's, I am considering dropping down a size to 18's.

A mixture of reasons, a possible improvement in comfort, but I am not sure how much it will be as I have never had a Signum with 18's for more than 2 days!

I love the look of the 18" 11 Spokes so this may be the way I am going, I think with the XP pack they'll look good.

What do you reckon, heres a pic?

Spot on mate and i'm thinking of doing exactly the same on my vec estate. Do like the 11 spokes and to be honest yours will look like an elite if you put the xp wheels on. Any idea of a price? I'd been looking at these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT but its going to be a bit too expensive for me with needing tyres.

Mav - trust me, the VXR bumper is the way forward with the Signum... Once I've got the parts I'm missing from the grill, and cleaned it up enough I'll post some pics...

The 18" multispokes are a good look too...

Just need the black AFL lights and I'm sorted...

If the front ever gets pranged, I'll get the VXR bumper, but I am stopping the high spend on it now for the reasons on our PM conversation.

I have got it how I like it (Just got to sort the wheels) so am going to enjoy it for another year and rack up the miles.

Tell me about it, they are £40 each more retail than the 19" Snowflakes!

    18" 11 Spoke retails at £248 + VAT
    18" Multispoke retails at £218 + VAT
    19" Snowflake retails at £210 + VAT

I managed to get a full set of four brand new inc VAT for £569

I have also got 3 used rims for the price of an Astra VXR AFM. A friend has the wheels but needed an air flow meter so a swap was done.

They really could do with a re-ferb as there are a couple of marks but I'll just store them incase I need them. so three spares!

My 11 spokes cost me 310 squid including 60 quid delivery from ebay, ony one had a slight mark on it which I knew about, then 400 quid for tyres which i made back by selling the XP2 wheels that were on the car to start with...
