Yep, pretty routine apparently - see several other threads on here. Had mine done last week under warranty - no problem. Don't be put off by stories about long delivery times on the parts - mine was ordered at 5pm last Thursday and it was fitted 24 hours later. Only took about an hour for them to fix it.

hi exactly the same happend to my car last week , i used a tie wrap as a temporary repair, and got it repaired under warranty, this is a very common problem and the new wiper linkage they put in has been modified it looks totally different to the old one.

    Steve,

Take it to the dealer mate, they'll replace the entire wiper rack under warranty. It's a very common problem and they'll defo know about it.

They did ours (supply only) within 48 hours.

I don't think it was ever a recall, but it might be worth calling Vauxhall Customer Services and see if they'll lend a sympathetic ear.

Either that or have a chat with Mark, see if he'll put his old one back on and tell the dealer it broke again.....

Mine took 10 days start to finish, with a courtesy car. At the time they were having problems with supply which have apparently been resolved now.

No money was ever mentioned... It was supplied FOC by Network Q for me to fit, saving me a 100 mile round trip to the dealer... I can find out tomorrow what the cost is and I will see if I can wangle a discount...
