    Default Interior Light Mod Ideas

Im trying to think of some ideas for some lighting in the rear.

Im thinking about some sort of strip led lights to go just above each rear door, and then something similar to go under each front sit so that it lights up the rear footwells..

The idea will be that when the lights come on in the front they come on in the rear too.

Any help on any ideas for products or how to go about it let me know

I was thinking of THESE for the above the rear door parts...

Idea was to cut small holes in the roof fabric and poke the led parts through.

Am I correct in thinking these 12V LEDS will be ok if directly wired up to the front interior lights?

wouldn't they be on permanenty as its a cig lighter adaptor, unless going to hard wire to the interior light...

I hard wired footwell lights and exterior door handle led's to the interior light on the astra... i was going to put led's in the rear plastic quarter panels but never bothered as though it was too much (already had grab handle led's)... i was gonna just drill small holes up evenly spaced as i had dismantled neon led tubes lying around, then stick the cirtuit board on the inside and the tips of the led's popping through...

I think something similar with the roof lining might look ok...

Yes i would intend on wiring them into the interior light as I would fear it would be a little too much.

Thats just given me some more ideas lol.

The whole idea behind this is to make the back as bright as poss when putting the kids in and out.
