When following the EGR take out and clean thread..
I didnt know which part of the clip seperated from the EGR on the left and side. Ie at the grey coloured part or the lower black coloured part of the electrical clip connector.
So after an element of forcing it, cleaning the egr, and then replacing the egr. All was going well.
However, I seem to have affected the clipping part of the electrical connection wire, it will no longer lock tite over the egr and click into place.
It is now running free and loose, and being held against gravity in situ, by wrapped electricians tape holding it in situ
I want to get a new clip on there for peace of mind, but it looks like it will need a whole new electrical connection, this meaning wires will have to be cut from the wiring loom....
...I presume an expensive job for the mistake of breaking one little yellow clip that holds the electrical connection onto the egr valve.
Any suggetions please? (sensible ones)
