    Default Torque steer

I took mine to Vx for some warranty work today. It pulls to the right under accelaration, will wander to the right on its own accord. A ticking noise coming from the back of the engine on the drivers side for a minute or 2 when cold. plus i get a rumble when in 1st or 2nd and taken up to 3.5-4k and then let go of the gear. any of these problems cropped up before?

Vx say the steering is fine but i can swear that it wasnt like that before. Any thoughts??

Pulling to the right, even though the tracking is fine isn't un common..

it's to do with the construction of the tyres..they prefer to run one way or the other.. I had this on my Cav V6.. two brand new Michelins and even though it had been 4 wheel laser aligned it still pulled.. the tyre fitter was old-school and calmly took the wheels off and swopped them left to right..no more pulling..

don't know about the ticking, but the rumble sounds like gearbox bearings, especially if the tone changes under load to off-load..

    give em hell mate..

Rumble sounds a bit consistent with rear wheel bearings. Mine needed doing when I bolted the 19's on.

Make sure plenty of oil in the car.
