Humbled and Embarrassed

It's taken me a long time to compose this thread..just didn't want to naff it up..
Talked it through with Cara and it goes like this..

Thank you all for the kind words that have appeared in the other PVS threads..we're both humbled by you.. The things we did over the weekend, we did because we wanted to make it memorable for you all, and in return you have all made it a fantastic memorable weekend for us...We're embarrased ever so slightly that we've been singled out for praise when i can think of so many things that everyone else did to make it the weekend that it was..the things people have said about us has left us wondering what the heck it was we did do at times..we were only being ourselves..as some of you who know us will appreciate.

Phil, my man.. if anyone deserves the title 'vectra-c superhero' it's you mate..coping with the heat and the pressure with your newfound permanent job..respect dude..It must have ben over 120F in there but you just kept going..

The weekend was a success because you ALL made it one..

As i was saying to someone else whilst down there. I've never met people like yourselves and others on this site so willing to go above and beyond. Now if only the world could take notes, it would be a better place.

Phil was also the other member singled out for particular praise on the day for his heroic efforts!

Not wishing to take anything whatsoever away from everybody else who helped out on the day, but the three of you stood out for particular mention. Loads of us have said the same - we can't all be wrong now can we?!

Mark & Cara - just face it you are both friendly, genuine people who deserved the praise.

One person I forgot to mention was Robbieben - he just kept pulling foodstuff out of his Signum. He and his better half must have bought the whole of Morrisons.

Praise where praise is due, me thinks.

I must have missed that. Nice one Robbie. I think the fact that Debbie is a catering manager probably had something to do with it! lol
