Hid kit has arrived....

Well the kit arrived about 13:45....so built up both sides just to see how they go together.......very easy......now to try on the car.....Removed the air box completely on drivers side and there was enough room to change the bulb no problems, used double sided tape (for holding number plates) to secure the boxes to the inside of the wings out the way.....Opened up battery tray cover and twisted the washer filler neck off the passenger side and again enough room to change the bulb, secured the boxes in the same mannor....Boxed it all back up job done in 1hr 15mins........Cant wait till it gets dark.......pickys up later on the brightness, The kit was 35w 6000k....

did you use your old bulb holders or did you get diffrent ones

As you are looking at the car from the front bonnet open,go behind the headlight, on the drivers side, there is a square shaped hole...Same on the passenger side, i put tape on and secured them in there you can just see the boxes in the pics....hope that helps....

You get bulb holders in the kit, but i couldnt get them to fit correctly.....so moddified the original 1s.....they will only fit 1 way so i cut out a small section just to get over the wires...

Well it s dark outside so i went to play.........

My wife asked me if i had the main beam on....God the differance is unbeliveable......So pleased i got them now...
