    Default inlet manifold & warranty's

swirl valve rod came off, looks like inlet manifold will nee replacing. I have a WMS 5* warranty which i hope will cover cost. has anybody had this replaced under warranty? do they call it wear and tear or what, i always find talking to warranty companies like talking to a barrel load of monkeys.LOL
Cars in the garage for mechanic to dismantel it all and read the fault codes, then ring them up, before they will say yes they will pay, if they say no then its down to me.

has anybody had this done under warranty? is it classed as a mechanical breakage?

Id call it mechanical failure personally. Mines booked to go into VX shortley for same reason, though mine willo be more diffulct to prove as tehre are no fault codes, and the rod is still on. But the 4th swirl is full of crap, and im getting poor fuel + smokey/juddery starts.

Theye are well known for failure, but based on the fact they released a modified manifold, it shows clearly that the original manifold has a design fault and so it cannot be attributed to fair wear and tear
