    Default Nokia CK7W install

Hi there, wondering if anyone can help me, Taking delivery of My Vectra tomorrow and wanting to fit a nokia ck7w so I can run my iphone while driving. just wondering, is there a connection on the rear of the standard cd head unit i can tap into so it will mute the radio so i can hear the call through the speaker provided. Or is there a way of adapting a ISO loom kit to suit it so it comes through the speakers??

Depending on the year, you'll either need a VDA lead or a SOT lead.

Just a quick warning, I have a Nokia CK7w kit fitted, it was ok with my Nokia phones (obviously), but since changing to a Blackberry phone I have had problems:

It pairs up & connects ok, but when I am talking to someone, they can hear their voice echo. After doing a bit of searching on the internet, it seems that iphones can also suffer with this issue.
Apparently it is the version of bluetooth that Nokia uses (version 1 I think), Blackberry & iphone are version 2 (I think that is correct)

I've just done a quick search, have a read of these:

Hi everyone thanks for the replies. Not Sure of the head unit yet till I collect it tomorrow night. I've tried my Iphone in My works sprinter Van, and it didn't seem to echo. ( nokia ck7 installed). As for the leads too, are they cheap and easy to get my hands on???

    Thanks again Gentlemen

P.s. The Vectra is a 55 plate with old stlye headlamps.. 1.9 Diesel. 150bhp i think

If it's a 55 pre facelift then you probably need a VDA lead (Autoleads 06-109B), remove the glove box (5 screws) and taped up on the right hand side should be the VDA socket, plug lead into this and then connect to CK7W.

It has a CD30 and no buttons on the steering wheel ??

If it's a CD30 then you need an SOT lead not a VDA, you can get them from Halfrauds, not cheap though.
PM me your address I've got one from my old Vec which had a CD70 Nav you can have.
To make the bluetooth work properly you need to wire the blue wire from the CK7W to the switched positive from the cig lighter.
