    Default heating vent removal

My son was helping me clean the inside of the care, turned away for a split second and looked round to see that one of the slats on the centre heating vents was now missing. Its still there but looks like its come away from the mechanism so when I close the vent there is this little gap at the bottom. I want to try and fix this hopefully if there isnt anything broken inside, can anyone give advice on how to remove the vents? Thanks

Open the passenger door and remove the trim that runs along the dash, give a good yank, should start to come away , there are screws under neath that, once you remove the screws the heating vents come out, should allow you to sort it
