    Default Retro-Fit Daytime Running Lights

I quite fancy a set for my car after seeing them on a few other Vectras...

Can anybody advise on where to buy them, how much they are and how easy they are to fit / wire up.

Can they be bought from Halfords?

    Any info would be appreciated.

Maybe I'm using the wrong name by saying 'running lights'... What I mean is a strip of 'LEDs'? underneath the headlight.
Rather like the Audis are fitted with as standard; only these are definitely retro-fitted.

If you look on flebay under WHITE leds you will find them. Go for the 30cm long ones that will fit along the bottom of the headlights, DO NOT buy blue as you will be stopped by the boys in blue as only emergency types can have blue front facing blue lights. Bring the wires into the under bonnet space and link the four wires into a small terminal two way block, leads are colour coded with a trace colour. You then have a choice, either connect into you side lights or as I did put in a switch to provide the power just in case you ever want to turn them off.

    Ahhhh I see!

However i'd rather not give the Audi drivers and excuse to laugh at or look down their nose at me

Remind me of the Golf advert on TV, it's like an Audi, but it's not.

Now a HUGE cluster of bright white LED's on the rear end would be a bit different and great for fending off impatient drivers OR muppets with front foglights on
