3.0 cdti

hi lads great site, just swapped my zaf gsi for a 54 reg vectra cdti v6, i am thinking about a tuning box or a remap but reading all the older threads on here im not too sure, is there any newer boxes or remaps on the market that wont kill the car ive seen a box from chip express on ebay £395 im very tempted but still unsure!! any help would be greatley appreciated, thanks lads, showy

Welcome and stay away from all remaps and boxes.

Alot of us have thought we new better and tried them and all had problems. I started a thread some time ago to see who had had what problems. Click on my name and im sure you will find it.

The biggest isue is the car going into limp mode just as your trying to over take things.

Plus you really dont need more torque it will only end up killing the gear box.

Errrm, have to differ there, however if it goes wrong, you will see the difference to your wallet too!

You can modify the 3.0 V6 CDTI, but your "investment" will be wasted
Eventually you will be looking at some "big" wallet openers
