it's hardly surprising if the tuned 2.0T insignia cars are getting 300bhp.
2.0T cossies were getting that (and more) with ease about 20 years ago. emissions levels play a big part in how much power new cars put out though, that's to be remembered.

I do think car makers hold back some of the lesser models to sell the top of the range stuff. What are everyones thoughts on BSR - they do some nice remap work on VX
My Signum supposed to be 147bhp (150PS) standard and 236 lb/ft. I know rolling orads are only a guide, but mine produced 159bhp and 256lb/ft. (In standard form).
Thats more than the new 2.0 CDTi's 157bhp (160PS) and 258lb/ft.
When my old 05 1.9 CDTi Vectra was put on the rollers just after I bought her, she came out at 165bhp with about 245 lb/ft of torque. I put it partially down to th 58K miles she'd done in a little over 2 years since being built...
Spoons wasn't too happy, as he managed just over 180 after all the modifications he'd done to his...
My old black 1,9 CDTi with the same EDS re-map via the VXR Performance Centre produced only 179bhp. mmmmmmm somewhat lower than EDS claim.
As Nutron could attest to, there are a million variables in engine power and torque production - wouldn't like to try and calculate them on paper...
Memories...

My BSR stg.1 2.0t recorded 243 bhp and 235 ftlb (at the flywheel) a few weeks back.
BSR claim it should be in or around 210/215 bhp for my car.
Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !
