Big Cough

Hi all, i know that 2.2 directs have a flat spot mine had a slight one (57 plate),this has now turned into a Big cough (tacho jumps and its like being jolted from behind) at the 4k mark. The spanner light comes on most times not allways and there is no loss of power even with the spanner light on.The MPG has dropped about 5mpg over the last month or so.

Could be a multitude of things mate tbh, but as history shows if its a Direct then its more than likely the fuel pump/reg or swirl flap/actuator. Your best getting your codes read mate.
