Is it 'pay at the gate' or will you be organising some sort of club payment?
payment is taken out of clubs hands. All clubs, whether displaying or not, simply pay on the gate, depending how many nights they are staying. Its around £12 per night for a tent & car.
Can we leave the site on Saturday for a few hours, as I have a driving afternoon in Leicester on the Saturday, (Xmas Present).
yep. Its a holiday park with caravan, fixed and touring, tents etc (Elec hook ups available) coming and going all day so access in and out is not restricted

The VBOA reserve a number of fields but the rest is still open to the public who dont have passes but still need access to the public camping areas. I assume they maybe give you a different type of ticket? but ive never been asked for mine whenever ive there.
Its not going to be possible mate. As we cant book an area (im going to try today), its a case of finding somewhere on the day when we arrive. Whoever gets there first will need to find a good spot for everyone. Nearer the time, i'll get peoples mobile numbers and make a list that can be emailed to the people attending. Then when you arrive, just ring someone on the list.
Ideally then, whoever is camping on the Friday night needs to pick the spot and let everyone else know.
