    Default Autotrader Scammers

got this guy tring to scam me on a BMW we listed with work.

Here is the email so far, its getting fun

    Ben,

I am so happy you want my car, I sure you wont mind but I would love to take it ram raiding one more time, this is a great sport over here, all we do is drive through the front of Halfords at about 90 MPH and remove what we can, some time the car will come off worse as they have a few bollards in front but nothing major, last time I only pushed the engine back 4” and bent the chassis.

Is it ok with you we go ram raiding one more time before I sell you my car?

    Ben,

That sounds great to me, I don’t want you to be disappointed with this fantastic car, as you can see from the photo she is a real babe, I feel its only fair to tell you about cylinder no.3 on this car, for some reason it has very slightly come adrift and instead of going up and down the bore it now travels out horizontally via a small hole it has made in the cylinder head, I have rectified this with a piece of MDF and a good dollop of no nails so it should be ok now. What else did you need to know about the car?

I've had a similar one this week, somone wants to have a Clio shipped to France - work that one out!

Sooooo.... reported to yahoo who assured me they have dealt with the email address holder's account, reported to Autotrader and an email to the police as well.

    LoL

Lovin it Jonnye, How low can you go....What's the next suggestion, Drug running? Curb crawling. Ask him for his bank details so you can deduct the value etc...

Why not point out it's an ex police car and see if he runs....

PMSL (once I sussed that it read from the bottom up! ) Can't wait to see his reply!

You may want to remove your own e-mail address from your post jonnye?, so that the spambots don't harvest your e-mail address.

It's too late for you to edit it, but I'll do for you if you wish.

You've got to love these scammers, their grammar is awful and so is their grasp of the english language.

i often browse this website which has some great wind ups www.419eater.com

I suppose if they keep on trying they may get somebody stupid enough to fall for it.

Great I am so glad we are getting on so well, I don’t know if you have had a 318 Convertible before but BMW recommend taking a vitamin supplement call Astimites sodium sulphate in the summer months, this last a long time as the best way to take it is to kiss it, we call it *** over here for short, I have a big hairy one and if you want to be safe in my car your are best to kiss my hairy *** every time you go out in it, will you kiss my hairy ***?
