you guys will never beleive this!,driving down through the village the other day when i noticed a strange smell of burning coming through the vents!,pulled over and found on the engine sheild a very very!! dead, and if not a bit burnt snail shell, the snail itself had proceeded to explode all over the engine bay and give off a disgusting smell of burning! Thats happened to me TWICE now! and its minging!!!!.I dont even know where the gits are coming from,or why they have to be in my engine bay!!!

probably like the warmth. surround your car with broken egg shells, apparently they can't slime their way over them.

On the upside, it'll save you a fortune in French cuisine!

I wouldn't eat them, they have to be treated and disgorged first. Starving for a few days (in wooden boxes) and then packed with salt (not completely necessary) in order for them to empty their intestines and disgorge lots of foam.

You can feed them carrots (not whole obviously) in order to clear the intestines too. ;-)

    I've never come across that

Perhaps surround the car with salt, you could convince the neighbours its to ward off evil spirits

The smell surely can't be as bad as that of a huge fly cremating itself in a 6ft halogen up lighter, the damn thing now stinks the whole house out with a smell of dog **** everytime I turn it on!
