    Default Putting in new seats

So today I finally managed to remove my old cloth seats, the drivers and passangers seats went in fine. When It came to the rear.... disaster lol........... The seats I purchased from ebay are different to mine =/ the back seats where the metal rods attach to allow the seat to stay in postition and fold down are in a different postition, on the new ones they are at the top middle, on my old ones they are on the sides.

The side bits of the seats at the rear have different attachment clips in different places.

Now one of my rear seat belts dont work, and for some reason the front 2 seats are missing the cables that go into the chair............ the abs light is on constantly.

    Cant believe this now

Looks like im gonna have to stick the old ones in again grrrrrrrrrrr!!

You sure the new seats are from the same body shape, i.e. hatch / estate etc ?

The rear seats you have put in are saloon , the locking points for the seats are in the middle on saloons , and the side bolster are bigger on a saloon than a hatch , are these leather seats? I ask because I am looking for leather or half/leather bolsters for mine , I have half leather bolsters for a hatch spare here.

ahh i see that really sucks when the guy was taking them out of the car it looked pretty much the same as mine just prefacelift instead of facelift.

    Yes they are leather seats.

Hmm right then they will have to come out ! wish i would of seen this before, I spent ages ripping the ****** door cards apart to fit these!
