    Default Clutch pedal vibration

Hi guys I posted this topic a couple of weeks back, but unfortunately through a misunderstanding got deleted!!

Anyway I was asking if anyone gets any vibration, pulsating, or any feelings of roughness through their pedal.
As the issue with mine is that mine has these symptoms.
The story goes that when I bought the car ,57 plate 150CDTI SRI NAV estate, with 22k in september ,when I test drove the car I pointed out the clutch issue to the salesmen, he got one of the Technicians to test drive the car, who confirmed that there was an issue with the clutch or flywheel or release bearing, I bought the car a Network "Q" from a dealer an hours drive away from where I live, anyway I bought the car with a condition that the problem would be fixed at my local VX dealer under warranty.
To cut a long story, the car was booked in at VX in Crawley, who had car for 2 days, when I collected car they told me that clutch and Dmf flywheel had both been replaced,as soon as I drove the car I felt little difference in clutch pedal. I took car back to them next morning, and explained my concerns that problem was'nt fixed, after waiting 20 minutes, a "technician" test drove the car and said that pedal vibration was normal,
how can that be when technician at VX dealership where I bought car said it was a fault!!!!
My view is that they have misdiagnosed fault which is probably the release bearing all along, and they will not put up hands and admit mistake
By the way they would'nt supply a repair sheet detailing work carried , which in my view is essential for the vehicles history

Please vote whether you get any vibration or feelings of roughness through clutch pedal, then maybe I can take this evidence back to vx

    Thanks for your time

    Cheers Ian

I put a deposit on a 19cdti design last year, it had 110k on it and the seller told me the clutch/dmf had been changed at 105k. that also had some vibration through the clutch pedal which i presumed was normal for a deisel. after speaking to a mechanic pal he warned me away from it saying it wasn't normal and was probably the dmf.(on its way out or poor quality replacement)
i kissed goodbye to my £100 deposit and ended up buying a 54 1.8 petrol sxi without the dmf probs associated with the cdti, and am happy.
i would test drive another cdti if i were you to compare.

Ian please take into consideration your thread title being "Clutch pedal vibration" = this would cause lots of people to "view" the thread hoping to help but on finding that it relates specifically to a 150CDTI then they may not have that type engine so therefore would have no requirement to vote (like myself) so you may recieve lots of views and only a few votes - but at least your poll would be accurate

    I have voted 'No'.

I used to have this, only with the clutch lightly pressed, but since having the clutch and DMF replaced it has totally gone away, regardless of clutch position, in gear/out of gear etc.... no vibration at all.

I have driven a few CDTi 120/150/V6 and its certainly not normal - like with mine it only do it where there was a fault.

I dont get any vibration, but there is a slight change in tone half way up on the clutch.
Wouldnt call it chattter, or a rattle, but something to be aware of.

It's going back to VX over my continued issues with the juddering on idle. (Curiously it wasnt as bad with the BP ultimate diesel in the tank. I suspect dodgy injectors)
So will be mentioning this, as i suspect if could be the start of the DMF/Clutch saga
