Default Removal of V Gille (facelift)

Quick question, Do you have to remove the bumper to remove the chrome v grille?

I have a colour coded one to go on when i get it back from the paint shop.

    Cheers

Or in other words, yes. You can tear the thing out (most people seem to do this), but that just seems silly.

I agree, why ruin a perfectly good 'V' when it only takes 10 minutes to take off the bumper.

ive done it twice now without removing the bumper or indeed damaging the v grill ,i loosened off the bolts that hold the bumper at the top then gently prise the grill out so you can access rear where its clipped in,carefully prise the clips from rear retaining plate thingy and it will come free, not saying this is best method its just the way i did it and it worked for me

I'm collecting my new grille tonight so will hopefully fit it tomorrow.

To be honest, now i know how the bumper comes off it should only be a 10-15 minute job.

Now what can i do next that doesn't cost the earth to do.
