Default Alpine Double Din fitted today.

Here's my new Alpine iXA-W404R head unit i got fitted today.
Don't have the steering wheel controls fitted yet as i was supplied with the wrong lead !
Also had to fit the original Vx 'whippy' aeriel as the one Ed T made me gave a terrible reception with this unit .
I'll be looking at fitting a multi-play CD changer in the boot after christmas, that plays MP3's etc, maybe even an amp and a new 10" speaker for my lil' boom boom box.

Next mod on my list is for Kman to do my dash & switches with blue led's and then i think it'll look just dandy-o !

    What ya recon peeps ?

I think it would look better with a brolly in it Phil............... Well not really. It does look the part though. Pity the "charity ariel" did not work as well as the whippy ariel though. Also I am glad you got it all sorted in the end. How does it sound compared to the cd30 you had before.

The CD30 has a good sound Ed, this one (as it stands) is about the same, but i haven't had chance to 'twiddle' with the knobs yet !
I also need to get the time/calendar sorted out aswell, but like i say, not had a good look yet.
