HID's

Having read every all the threads on the HID kits i could find, I decided to get some for myself.

I must say the look fantastic, but... at times when the lights ore off, they pulse for about 30 seconds. The kit I fitted were form hids-direct and have the warning cancellors which work fine(no dash warnings).

I have found other people have had this with LED sidelights, but can't find anyone who has mentioned it with the HID's.

So, does anyone elses hids pulse? and would if so would it reduce the life of the bulbs?

Nope, not mine. Have you tried contacting HID direct and asking?

Mine neither perhaps you have a faulty canceller ?

yeah mines flickered when they were on but not wen they were off and the cancelors work a treat, mabe get canbus safe ones with it bult in?

mine do the same - I contacted HIDS-direct about it but no reply yet - let me know if you get to speak to them!

Your best bet is to phone them (01617 939236), I tried emailing them a couple of times about a faulty ballast, but got no reply!

Phoned them and they were extremely helpful.

Anyone have any Joy on this , fitted mine today, massive difference, however like above when lights turned off HID's Pulse for a few seconds then stop

Have you got the power wires round the correct way ?

Strange, mine's half canbus I think, and mine don't pulse. My LED sidelight's did when ignition off, before I put m-tecs in, and my LED strips pulse with ignition off, but don't light up.
