    well i think ive found where the rear noise is coming from now, when i grab the drivers rear i can feel play within the wheel and theres a slight knock noise, does that mean its the upper control arm?

    is the wheel tight? whilst rocking the wheel look to see where the noise is coming from

    just took wheel off and put it back on there seems to be about 2mm gap in the arb bush so ill get that changed, and when i checked the wheels again rocking them both sides had play in them but couldnt see where it was coming from, im sure in the old MOT by last owner it had new radius arms , ill have to check MOT history

    Yes thats the kiddie. Put your hand in between wheel arch and wheel and grab hold off the tyre. Pull it towards you and if knackered it will move with a knocking sound. Mine were the same .

    Replaced my rear upper control arms (well vx did). No more knocking over bumps.

    yea thats the way i did it and it knocked as if the wheel nuts was loose but they aint lol , only had car 4 weeks so gonna contact evans halshaw, they are gonna love me , this car was a replacement because the other car had faults and they said it didnt , how much did VX charge you?

    The parts are about £67 each side. But it was also wearing out the inside off my tyres on the rear. 1.6 MM on the inside edge 3.00 mm on the rest off it.

    People on here have fitted them, them selves but it is apperantly very awkward to get to 1 bolt. Some people taking 3 hrs per side.
