does the bonnet open like a catapult and fire the pedestrian away?

I've just read this and I find it absolutely appalling...
£11k for a shunt, jeeze. The GT-R is a lovely car but thats just a joke gone wrong.
They'll end up on the back of trailers going to and from the race tracks if you ask me. Nobody would risk it on the road
Chairman of the Company I work for took delivery of his GTR in October- sent him the link and he cannot believe it!
Oh well, lucky he has pots of money and drives on the fleet insurance!
in a couple of years the cars will be selling for £20k - imagine an owner then getting a bill like that.
I spotted one of these in Town yesterday.. caught the mid 30's heavily fake tanned stupidly white teeth guy with a receding hair line come out and pose near his car.. everyone was looking and he wa sloving it.. he was telling a bunch of 20 something lasses about his car etc ... i went over and complimented him on his car and then told him about the repair bill that this guy the thread is about suffered... His didnt believe me.... so out pops his iphone where he checks the link from here
Tee hee .... didnt his face drop!!
And yes i had a warm fuzzy feel inside
Big fan of those cars, and was thinking about picking up a second hand one in a year or two. Not any more No chance.
Completely ridiculous. It's not even a very highly priced vehicle, it's an incredible bargain new cost considering what you are getting for that 50 K.
Even Porsche or Ferrari don't have repair bills as ludicrous as that.
