    And if that's the price for him paying direct - I can only begin to imagine the price they quoted the insurers...

    It is pretty ridiculous as in a few years time that'll be a big enough claim to write the thing off!

    It is only a 50k car though - a tiny bit unfair Lump! I wouldn't expect a bumper repair to cost 22% of the value of my car! Damn good job he didn't have a proper accident! Hideous to think what else you could spend 11 grand on...
