    Default elite vs SRI spec?

My last vectra was an SRI and it seemed quite well spec'd. What do you get extra on the elite?

As far as 'toys' are concerned, you will get everything you had on the SRi plus..

    Heated Leather Seats
    SatNav
    4 x Electric Windows

The spec is very good on the Elite. But the ride/handling might need to be tweaked if you are used to an SRi.

    Hope that helps.

    more chome on some years

sat nav was not standard on all elites or sri's

Dual zone electronic climate control, displayed on CID. Pretty clever stuff as it compensates for sunlight, auto recirculation, heater fan speed slows down if you have an incoming call on inbuilt bluetooth if fitted and you receive or make a call.

I had the same dilemma when looking for a vectra and decided to get a signum design, It's a basically an sri front and sri suspension with alot more kit, good second hand by also. Not everyones cup of tea, but I love the extra space and now (dare I say it) prefer the looks.
I considered buying an elite but it would have cost me too much to do all the mods to make it look like an sri, still a good option though. Same for the engine I sometimes regret not getting a V6 CDTI as the dual pipes look great and I wouldn't be looking to spend extra on a remap or a box. However cheaper road tax and better mpg on a Cdti 150 keep the mrs happy!
