    Unhappy Not happy....

I've been well and truly shafted on ebay

Bought an item I really really needed, paid for it cash as seller wouldn't take paypal and waited. Nothing came after a week, so sent a message, no reply so sent a further 4 messages (one a day) still no reply.

Seller then had an auction for a Scooby so sent a message on that auction asking where my item was, nothing back so contacted ebay and went through the correct procedures. Then I got a message from the seller saying 'what item did you buy?' I replied and nothing back.

Yesterday ebay contacted me asking for more details which I gave them, then I've looked just now and the seller is no longer registered

Gutted, so I'm still out of pocket and in desperate need of this part.

I would have but he was the only person to have what I wanted and the auction said if you pay by paypal it will be refunded.

Although I do have the chaps name, address and bank details lol.

Gutted mate, sorry to hear about your loss. I've always been told to pay via paypal, ALWAYS, no matter what. You're always safe through paypal. As for the ***** who had you off, did ebay not trace his records? Are you out of pocket now, can you not claim it back?

Tbh the amount isn't much, it was only £20, but the part I needed is hard to come by, and at the min a new replacement for what I won is £200.
