Front Bumper Question

Hi all, i bought a front spoiler for my vectra sri of ebay item no 150362575149, after asking would it fit the facelift sri and was told it would fit 100%, so i bought it also knowing it was a glue on, wasnt bothered, when i offered it up to my bumper it seemed it would in only one position but where the ends meet it was about an inch too long at both sides and i cant see any other way of fitting it, i have been asked is the sri bumper different in any way to a standard vectra bumper, and more importantly is this the right one for mine some photys for inspection.

Havin only fitted mine a few weks ago, it certainly looks like a f/lift one

Im trying to find out if theres a difference between sri and non sri bumper mainly, how did yours fit Gibbon 7000? have you got the Design model?

Aftermarket fibre glass stuff never fits right IME. i've had countless spliters etc, and had bits cut or trimmed to fit...

Get it smothed into the original by someone and it'll be fine.

Its like, 1 inch overhang at the wheel arch, just seems to much of a gap.

Yeah, sorry, when i said that i'd fitted mine, it wasnt from the same seller or anything like that, mine fitted like a glove tho, just went on.

i got front and back splitter from ebay for the astra, non vaux part and the rear slotted on perfect. offered it up to car and it stuck straight on as awesome fit...

the front, from the same seller same kit. had to be split in the middle and like an inch reomved. when fitted i started at the corner of the bumpers and i used a thin metal bracket to join the middle and re fibre glassed it to fit...

remember the corsa b being similar pain with side skirts, trimming to fit round the arch cover...

update, its going back i have proved it doesnt fit even if you hacked it death it still wouldnt fit where it meets the wheel arch the flare out was completely different so you live and learn eh.
