    Default Cd 30 radio info

Just had a new radio fitted under warranty. Can anyone tell me what are the functions, I think , called SDVC 1through to 5. I haven't got the radio manual. I want to radio to stay on when the engine is switched off and not start automatically when I start the car.
One a differant note, what MPG would you expect to get out of a 1.9 cdti 120 if driven normally.( Not booting it) Is 40 about average urban driving?
    Thanks in advance.

PM me you address, I have a spare CD30 manual I can post to you. There are options to sort out the key logic and is SDVC Speed Dependant Volume Control? ie, the volume goes up when the speed goes up.

    Vehicle : Vectra C

    Trim : Energy

    Engine : Z19DTH

    Year : 2005

    Mileage : 131,000

    Default

SDVC is speed dependent volume control...factory standard is about 2
This function increases the radio volume to compensate for louder engine and road noise at higher road speeds. 0 = no increase in volume at high speed...5 = max amount of volume increase at higher speeds

    To prevent automatic on/off switching
turn your radio on, press settings and look for Ignition Logic control...
Uncheck (remove the cross from the box) and this will then only turn the radio on /off when you press the power button.

Regarding MPG...dependent upon driving style, load etc...you should expect between 40 to 44 mpg.
My 1.9cdti (150) returns an average 44 mpg
