    Default IMPORTANT ~ Mclaren Strollers ~ Risk Of Amputation

    Saw this on the BBC Website today... Was very very worried when i saw it.

    We have a Triumph Model and we will be contacting Mclaren to see what they say.

    yes a serious matter 12 kids unbelievable it took that many before they done something about it!!

    Will be interesting to see if these are the only models being recalled...

    After all "all single and double umbrella style buggies" should include the Mistral and Major buggy ranges...
    I work for the mobility services in Manchester, (NHS) and we supply dozens (per year) of the Major and Major Elite buggies for children with behaviour problems....would be a massive recall for us as we have issued these for about fifteen years!!!

    This is a right load of ******* IMHO. The 'repair kit' is just a sleeve to cover the hinge. Why not just keep the kids away from it when folding it down? Haven't seen a 'repair kit' to prevent fingers from getting shut in my Vectra's doors for goodness sake! Doesn't every hinge in creation have the possibility of trapping fingers etc?
