Unhappy Help & Advice Urgently Needed

My 2.2 Vectra has deceided it will only start about 5 minutes after i put the key in, basically it doesn't even crank over and the eml is on i then go inside have a cuppa go back out turn the key and it will start, i took it to a vauxhall specialist and they told me it was either a CIM fault or a known problem with the abs plug which was a dealership only fix, apparently it would of been recalled under warranty but mine wasn't taken back.

I left the the vx specialists and went to my nearest dealership, a whole week had past and in that time i'd received one phone call from them telling me they were keeping it over night, everytime i phoned them they told me everything from there was a loose wire in the abs plug to it might need an abs pump, today i walked into the dealership and they have now told me it could be the ECU and that it was £700 and it still might not fix it, basically i told them too jog on and now have the car back still with the same problem, has anyone else had this problem? please help

when it doesn't start you could wriggle the abs plug and if it doesn't start then you could tick it off. does the eml flash?

the eml light stays solid in the bottom right corner and the mil light (picture of orange car with a spanner thru it) in the middle of the dash flashes

go to a local garage and get it plugged in to see the error code. or buy an op-com. don't go to VX as they will charge £55 for the 10 seconds.

Unplug the ABS plug, give it a clean and plug it back in. Flashing EML is immersions I believe so check that system also. Dont go to a none VX garage for the codes to be read unless they have Tech 2 or equivalent or you wont get the proper fault codes.
