cruise control

hi all

i have noticed that my cruise control keeps turning off on its own for know reason,
when i switch it on after a second or two it just switches off,have you got any ideas please.

i dont use it that often but you know wot its like if you have it then it got to work properly

clutch pedal switch spring is probably weak and needs replacing - vx do a kit

i must admit that i have noticed that the clutch pedal is quite sloppy but wouldnt have put the 2together

how does this affect it then mucker

The cruise control can be switched off by the indicator stalk button or by either the brake or clutch switches to save time fiddling with stalks standard on the vast majority of cruise control systems.

I have the same problem, found if you put your foot under the clutch and pull it up, then press the cruise control button, it stays on!

Yep mine did the same, the spring had snapped on mine so bought the modified spring, took 10 mins to fit and cruise control working

Its a spring thats been modified




Been serious I believe its just a stronger more durable spring!
