    Default Box for a Dti

Anyone done this on a Vectra Dti?

Really interested in doing it, and reading different threads about it damaging the fuel pump, scares me to say the least.

I have found one on on e-bay for £350.00? My thought were a tad expensive.

    any opinions?

The only boxes you can get for the DTi are hard wired ones mate, no plug and play and they tend to be more expensive.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, was wondering why they were so much more expensive than the others.

Might be worth me going for a remap then. Im getting the exhaust done so maybe get them done at the same time, obviously the remap after the exhaust is fitted.

Thanks for your replys. I had one company that said they could remap it for £375. I think. Need to find the e-mail.

Think its going to have to wait for now anyway, since i went out in it this morning there's a weird tapping noise coming from the engine bay. Cant really pin point where its coming from though, sounds like the back of the engine.

There was a article in TV on how to tune a 2.0 DTi, one way was just to take a washer out of the plunger in the pump to force more fuel in. Thing is (and you DTi guys might have to confirm this) I think the pumps might be different on the Vec B, I know the engine is the same but not too sure if the pumps the same.
