    Default HID Kit

Well the deed has been done .... I've finally succumbed to upgrading my standard incandescent headlamps with an HID upgrade kit. The order went in last night to Jam Performance Parts for the Vectra C specific kit with 6000K 35w lamps.
Obviously I'll find a way to do before and after pics showing the difference (not short of dark lanes out here) to keep everyone happy. I'm just hoping I don't have to do much in the way of modifying parts.... but we shall see.

The only mod you may have to do will be the is to cut the bulb holder but they will still be usable with standard bulbs. Looking forward to seeing pics

Thats the same kit I got. All you need to mod is the rubber cover to get the wires through. If yours is half canbus you will also need the the extra loom to stop bulb failure warning.

54 plate 3.2 GSi Nav.... if I've read a few other posts correctly mine will be full CanBus.... but plenty of people who've used the JPP supplied kits have said how helpful they were, so I'm not too worried.

Should be fine then. It took me over a month and retracting my bad feedback to get the extra loom from them.

    Right... the kit has arrived:

    2 x Lamp unit
    2 x Ballast unit
    2 x Warning Canceller
    2 x Modified lamp holder
    2 x Connecting wiring

Connecting each set of components seems easy enough - each plug only fits in one socket.

All I need now is this lousy weather to ease up so I can get outside and go hook it all up!!
