    Default debadging

    done the debadge job today

    removed the hatch griffin and the energy's from the doors, also
    the vauxhall from the chrome trim

    Having seen a few of these now, I still can't say I am keen on the debadged look on the rear. However, you've done a grand job.

    Nice job. Done mine about a year ago, but felt it was missin something without the griffin, so ordered a new one Looks cleaner wiout the CDTi etc.

    I did leave the SRi on the sides tho.. j jus to let em know as I glide past

    from stat to finish.

    What did you use to debadge? I used stanley knife blade, still got sticky bits on the side, don't wanna scratch the paint!

    youre brave using stanley knife,, use elbow grease and a good tar remover to get the sticky off

    i used fishing wire to get the badges of (slid the line behind the badge then pulled down in a sawing motion)
    once the badge was off, i used hot water on a terry cloth to clean and get the sticky stuff off...then used auto glym paint renovator to remove any marks left behind by the sticky, then finished of with a good polish.
