Much cleaner matey
Having seen a few of these now, I still can't say I am keen on the debadged look on the rear. However, you've done a grand job.
Nice job. Done mine about a year ago, but felt it was missin something without the griffin, so ordered a new one Looks cleaner wiout the CDTi etc.
I did leave the SRi on the sides tho.. j jus to let em know as I glide past
cheers
it was easier that i thought it was gonna be, took about an hour
from stat to finish.
i'm well pleased...bring the alloys
What did you use to debadge? I used stanley knife blade, still got sticky bits on the side, don't wanna scratch the paint!
Nice job m8, looks better without the badges on.......
i used fishing wire to get the badges of (slid the line behind the badge then pulled down in a sawing motion)
once the badge was off, i used hot water on a terry cloth to clean and get the sticky stuff off...then used auto glym paint renovator to remove any marks left behind by the sticky, then finished of with a good polish.
