    Default Front wipers-one suddenly died ! :(

Hi, whilst driving home today with the wipers on (typical English weather!!), the passenger side one (whilst in the low position) made a small noise, and then suddenly stopped working. Obviously I couldn't pull over at the time, but when I got home (ie now!) I checked fuse 11+12 under bonnet (as per the manual) and there seems to be no issues there. The drivers side one is still working ok. Does anyone have any ideas as I really can't afford to take it to a mechanic at the moment ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Steve

It's ok, I've fixed it. Pulled up the plastic cover and one of the silver arm joint jobbies had come off at one side (managed to make it come off at the other side whilst fidling as well, lol). Re-attached it at the left hand side first (just clicked in) and the attached it at the right hand side to the wiper arm. Quick test and all is well...phew

It will work for a little time, but you have to buy a new one asap. The reason it fell of is that it is worn out...
