Vauxhall dvd player

Well its only been used once and that's when i fitted it,ive left it in car since then and today kids tried it but nothing on screen
Green power light comes on but nothing on screen,tried a dvd in it but its not spinning
Anyone had any problems with these MODEL ONE (TPSL 102)
Any know how much to replace it or a good place to send it to be fixed

Just been on phone to vauxhall they want £800 to replace just the DVD player lol part number 93299407

LOL it's cheaper to buy the kit £300 can't afford that at the minute,it's only 5 months old so can't understand why it's messed up

Not something daft like the screen lid closed sensor being stuck ??
Had this on a portable dvd played, took ages to work out why it would power up but the disk wouldn't spin.

Its usually a little button like on a laptop over closer to home, the old type door switches on cars, as the lid closes it pushes a little button. Just pull it out to see if its that.

you found out is the 93199229 been changede then.. (thats for the dvd-player only)

no no that one is for me if they can change the logo to Opel on it
