    Default PVS Traders?

What a fantastic day. My first big Vauxhall event and I enjoyed it along with Linda and my two little girls. The food was the high light of the show and what a bargain, thank you and well done Big Phil, despite the silly hat. I can now understand why you are refered to as a LEGEND'

I am a veteren of many years Ford and all the shows and RS meets that take place. I was looking forward to today and was not dissapointed by the stand, the organisation or the many peolpe we met and had a chat with. Putting faces to names after the few months I have been a member of the site was good. I thought the lay out of the stand was bang on and that the admin team did very well to negotiate the marsh that had appeared in the middle of our allocated space.

I do have a feeling of bewilderment and surprise though, for what is billed as the Vauxhall show of the year, even Mike Brewer! was there, I was very dissapointed at the lack of trade stands and the fact that they did not appear to have "show" prices. I was after a set of wheels and tyres and a few other things and thought I would get a bargain today and also be spoilt for choice, what a shock to not see any dedicated wheel dealers there. Nothing like Ford Fair to be honest.

In my opinion apart from the melle of great cars there if it had not been for the "strip" I feel the day would have been a let down and even boring.

Sorry if I have annoyed any one but that is just how I feel. Rock On Vectra C and Signum club though. Thanks Graham for the stickers.

I have to agree with you on the traders stands like you say not much of a choice and not much on the value side apart from LMF doing some cracking deals. But I had a good time

I have been to events that were better as regards Traders stands etc, LMF had some pretty good offers, but I do agree that there should perhaps of been more traders there, though it depends on who Total Vauxhall invite as it's essentially their show, they probably invite traders that advertise in their magazine.

Couldn't do any harm to send a letter to Total Vx magazine about your concerns Gripper, it may lead to improvements next year.

Nice to meet you today (briefly whilst parking you lol) and I share your concerns that there didn't seem to be that many traders there, been a cracking weekend none-the-less.

this was my first visit tp PVS today and TBH i wasnt sure what to expect.
It was soo busy that getting close to the trading stands was nearly impossible which was very frustrating as had every intention to spend some cash

I do agree the trading stands could have been better, maybe even making them bigger would have made a difference..??

To be honest there was a lot more traders at last years PVS. I think the problem was that there was some sort of custom car show somewhere (possibly Billing) as we passed a lot of custom cars on my way home. Plus there was something going on at Silverstone as signs were everywhere. I think the traders had to judge where they would get the most exposure and sales and PVS wasn't ideal I guess.

For more traders you should guess yourself to the VBOA day at Billing!!!

Total Vauxhall invite as it's essentially their show
I don't think they're invited, more like TV charge for a stall...if it costs too much they the traders will stay away.

there was another show on near Birmingham I think, and i do agree, it only took 10mins to walk round the traders, normally it takes me all day in stages.
