    Default Bridgestone pulling out of F1

    I just read on autosport that Bridgestone are pulling out of F1 as well as toyota i wonder though who will take there place
    VXR IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST FOR THRILLS !

    No one probably. Used to work at avon tyres, F1 approached them to supply tyres but wanted them all for free. Just far too expensive.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    I can see Goodyear coming back. Michelin won't be coming back, they made that clear a long time ago.

    You never know, with the new regs of no refuelling stints are going to be very long and that's Michelins forte

    Tbh I think they'll walk, their road car sales have plumeted. where will that leave RBR as they use their engines???

    another merc engine customer maybe like brawn? spend it and make the car faster

    Some of the rumours suggest that they'll still be an engine supplier, so RBR would still be OK.

    RBR were in talks with Merc re engines mid summer, I think they were waiting from a ruleing from the FIA to how many cars could carry one engine.
